Long time since I've updated. Actually a few days only. haha! been to quite a number of things the past few days. going about here and there.. woohoo!! BUSY AH!

Monday and Tuesday.. Went to Boon Lay Secondary for YCDI. This time round, its the sec2 that were going for the workshop. Its been a long long long long long long long long long long long long time since I've lead in any YCDI sessions already. So I wouldn't rate myself as very good for the past two sessions. Found myself stumbling alot of times when running through the whole workshop. This shows that I still need to make lots of improvements on my leading skills!

One thing I've learnt from the two sessions is about people managing. Being a lead, it is usually harder for you to notice what the whole class really needs as we are usually busy conducting the workshop and ignoring the real needs as we want the session to go on smoothly. However, I was caught off guard in a certain way. Pork was telling me that the class find the session a little boring for the first half. I was surprised as I felt that the class was rather engaging. So I took some time to change the style a little by injecting more games into the second half of the programme. Luckily, they got more interested after that.

This has taught me that the supporting roles of the other volunteers are important and that I should keep a look out at all times. Or what da jie says, we need to be SHARP at all times. And so, this is one area which I need to improve to better my leading skills. =) Trybe is always GOOD!!

Wednesday, had a day out with Min and Bird. went to play DDR for like 5 rounds at lot1's ZoneX. was super stressful cause Bird keep failing. so it equals me needing to play better so that we can continue playing. haha! but it was good. I really think DDR is the best game! not only does it trains ur eyes and legs co-ordination, it also trains reflexes and also help to improve "speed reading" (of arrows. haha!) and most importantly, its really FUN!!

then went over Yekai's house near 6pm. Help him to dye his hair and get to see his two sisters. haha! pretty friendly I can say. and I tell you!! Yekai's MUM IS SUPER CUTE AND FUNNY! haha! Yekai is so blessed to have such a nice and caring mum. haha! TREASURE HER YEA??! or I SMACK YOU and MESS YOUR HAIR! hahahha!

went home after which to slack around. watching TV and laugh! the 9pm Channel 8 show is SO FUNNY.

okie.. gotta resume listening to lecture! update again soon! =)
