The heart..
Once again, I'm very bored in lecture.. (okie.. partly is because the lecturer is giving us time to do some assignments which I've done and handed up ytd already).. haha! anyway, just had a urge to blog about something that I've come to learnt about this few days.. to share it with you guys.. yea.. hehe..
for the past few days, FCBC has been going through some "preparation" for our 100K campaign.. well.. I think that from this few days, I've been praying and meditating upon the Word and was greatly touched by the revelation brought by God.
For the past few days, God has been teaching me about the condition of my heart and I realised that I have really drifted quite a distance from Him.. From the way I say things to see things, I find that I hardly look and speak the way He does... which brought me back to many incidents that happened this past few days. I'm greatly touched seriously and really learnt that in order to bring people closer to you, you will need to live by His example and that to bless the people around with a willing heart. Without a willing heart, the blessing is not counted because we still have some thoughts about the things that we just blessed the person with.
To bless is never easy. but to bless with a willing heart is even more difficult.. Imagine that you are walking down a street and someone just came as ask for $2 from you. Will you give it to him willingly? Or would you give but unwillingly? Or even reject him straight away? For me, many times I've fell into the third statement and I really regreted about it. Whether or not the person really needs the $2, we should just readily bless that person with the things that he/she asked for. I'm not saying that we should just keep on giving like nobody's business.. but the idea is that when we give, we should give it out of willing-ness...
With a willing heart, our hearts will not grow to be a heart of stone. This will then allow God's work to be upon us and also not make us miss the day of His divine visitation. Well, I would say that in many times in our life, we tend to take things for granted.. but only through giving/blessing then are we able to be blessed with more. yea.. of course we should not do with the mind-set of wanting to get back more, but rather we should just give with a happy heart.. not feeling very wasted or unhappy..
All in all, we should learn to bless the people around us with a willing/open heart. yea..
haha! well, this week has been a wonderful week for me.. haha! less assignments.. hehe.. anyway, anyone wanna go watch Harry Potter with me and min?? TAG MY BOARD! LOL
