Alright! one week down and 5 more to go! WOOHOO! today is the start of the new week and I think its GREAT! =) all the joking around and exploration just makes this trip more worth it each day! ^^

DAY 8

woke up today and went for Project Management lesson. Thank God for today as there isn't any IS lesson. Or else, it would have more or less be an anti-climax for the start of the week. well, nothing much for the day except for seeing Mr. Tan throughout the whole day. I think Project Management is quite an interesting course as I'm more or less am interested in handling projects (not those that you get in school. haha! =P). I mean when I'm in Trybe, it had open me up to alot of opportunities in handling projects. From TSD'07 to TVC'08. It had been a wonderful learning experience for me and I felt this module could help me do better in the future if I were to do such things again. =)

well, tried eating at Canteen 3 for today. it was like FINALLY OPEN as the last time we went it wasn't open. Since today was the start of the school term, the school is FLOODED with students walking around here and there. It felt as though I'm really studying in University right now (meaning I'm like studying for my degree or something). I had the "freshman" feeling when I was walking around. I nearly had a shocked today when I saw so many people early in the morning when we were making our way for class. I was like thinking, "EH?! GOING ON STRIKE AH? SO MANY PEOPLE!"

haha! I know. its a dumb thought. but yea! I was really thinking that way! haha! well, at least this increase the campus feeling when studying there! its so much fun and so full of experiences! =)

anyway, on our way back to our dorm after the 4pm lesson, we took like many stupid photos. We all tried to take a 5-shot photo individually. It was inspired by this youtube video that we saw where this celebrity called 九孔 who likes to imitate almost all famous stars tried and imitate Japan's famous star, 金城武. and of course, he gave himself the name, 金城五 instead! haha! it was super hilarious watching the video as he was literally joking around! and he would always count from one to five using his fingers before repeating his name again. Like, "一、二、三、四、五。 我是金城五。"

WALAO! it was SUPER FUNNY! so we decided to take the 5-shot post and see who has the FUNNIEST look!

haha! spent lots of energy laughing at the pictures. super funny. it was a time filled with laughter and joking around.. super funny.


REFLECTION OF DAY 8, MONDAY, 1 September 2008:

Time: 9:23pm

Short day yet long day today. Had Project Management for the whole day and I’ve learnt more about what a project manager has to do before execution of the project. Serious speaking, it is not easy to be a project manager as they have a lot of beforehand work to do and during the project execution as well.

But from all of these, I had a lot of time to spend with other ICT students. Spent some time talking to them and getting to know them more. It was really amazing how all of us were able to be rather bonded and be able to talk so much within this short week. It felt really great as I am one who loves making new friends. Had some time to chat with the guys and joking around the past week. Doing a lot of stuff together and trying out new things. I also got the chance to know the girls in ICT as well. Managed to share a little about myself and for me to know them more.

One thing I felt I haven’t done so well is to interact with other students who are from ME. I should make more effort in connecting with them and know them more. They seem friendly and so I shall make the opportunity to open up my social circle in NP. That will be my goal for the coming week.
