Mid week. =)
DAY 31FINALLY! END OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT LESSONS!! WOOHOO! Although not the end of the whole module as there's test next Tuesday, but we will not need to attend anymore lesson! haha! How cool is that man??!!

I'm copying Nadal's facial expression. not very successful. LOL.

ME!

IMBA FACE!

Don't know what he's trying to make.
KUDOS to team N.J.C! (Neu Jacob Carlos) haha! I'm sure our assignment will be VERY WELL DONE and also our presentation has improved since week1! haha! so NO WORRIES! we'll just work hard for test 2!! =)
well. had lunch and went back for PPP. Its a lesson whereby they teach us on how to write resume, handle interviews and some other important things for seeking jobs. I feel that it is important as this will help us access factors which we usually don't when seeking a job. This will then allow us to make better decision on choice of jobs to apply for and also be able to properly handle situations during job application.
On our way back, we saw this truck like thing on the road side in front of the library. It has this shooter whereby the staff uses it to water the trees and plants. It was SUPER COOL! haha! i managed to take a shot of the guy using it. Zheng wei also went to try for awhile. Well, to pose for a photo actually. haha! zzz

went out for dinner and went back to school at around 7pm to join in this closure to the student's orientation. Like some night concert for the students to enjoy and laugh over things. as the we were unable to squeeze into the crowd, we could only watch from far and take pictures. Still, it is pretty clear i guess. haha! and oh! the weather was SUPER COOLING! I mean, it is 19 degrees! of course it is cold! but I like it as the past few weeks have been HOT even at night! so a nice change after four weeks in China. haha!

The performance stage and the various items for the night. This is only the first half. we went off around halfway as we were a little too cold. and wanted to do some stuff before going back down. however, by the time we were ready once again, it ended. -.- haha!

Jacob preparing for night shots

Zheng wei and Cheng teck. CT always has this SUPER BLUR look! haha!

this is HALF the amount of people over there!! SCARY!

It's ME again! =)

Some random shot which I took secretly. well, not very secretly due to flash.
while walking back to our apartment, we saw this water truck thing AGAIN! haha! this time round, Jacob and Zheng wei intend to play with it. IT WAS SUCH A HILARIOUS SIGHT

I guess he misses yj too much that he was drunk. haha! he did some stupid dance and I just happen to catch the funnier moment. haha! IMBA KIA!

The fight of the year. Super Saiyaren from Dragon Ball (without the aura thing) VS Spiderman (without being bitten by a spider. he anyhow one) I wonder who wins. Hmm.

Remembered watching The Lion King, where the scene shows the Lion King at the tip of the cliff looking at the sky? yea. something along that line. just that this is an escaped mental patient who is waiting for someone he misses to come back. On top of a truck some more. haha! CRAZY! (BEST OF THE DAY!)
continuing out journey back to the apartment, we saw this kid playing with this interesting skateboard which we never see it in Singapore. It has only two wheels and uses more balance compared to those we had in Singapore. Jacob took a try with it and even got told off by the kid saying that he is 差劲. SUPER FUNNY!

The boy in red is the kid I've mentioned and the rest are the MULTIPLE attempts by Jacob to ride the board. all ended with a BIG FAILURE. haha!
that's more or less about the whole day today. not too bad. especially the weather. WOOHOO! hope that tomorrow will be as cooling as today! =)
REFLECTION OF DAY 31, WEDNESDAY, 24th SEPTEMBER 2008:Time: 10:44pm
Today is one of the most memorable days as I managed to engaged with a conversation with Mr. Tan. Getting to know him more and to spend some time with him. Although the time spent is rather short, I have learnt a lot about Mr. Tan from that short 45minutes.
I’ve found out that Mr. Tan is actually a very thoughtful person who analyses situation a lot. From PM lectures all the way to him sharing certain thoughts he had during his working days at other companies, I can conclude that Mr. Tan is one who analyze the situation well before making a decision. One example would be when he is in PM lecture. He tends to be able to spot some areas which we missed out and yet important. This is one which I have to learn from him – looking things at a bigger picture.
Another thing I feel about Mr. Tan is that he is one caring lecturer which is quite a rare sight in the school. He tends to put the student over his ownself and that to make sure all of us are safe and comfortable in our stay over here. I thank him for being such a caring teacher although sometimes I find him a little naggy. But it is important for him to do so; so that we will actually refrain ourselves from doing things that will harm us. And he took initiatives to inform us on his new founding so that we know the area better especially when we need to travel around. This has made travelling much easier for us as we do not have to meddle our way through the China streets.
Overall, I’ really glad to have spent some time with Mr. Tan today. I hope to be able to spend more time with him as there is very little time left in China. Also, I’m more motivated to learn to become someone who is sensitive to people around me. Extending help selflessly and also to be hospitable towards people around me.
