Day before cruise...
This shall be a short update on today's event before MIA-ing for three full days! Will be going for a cruise tour where internet access is totally IMPOSSIBLE. So yea, I know you guys will miss my posts, so I'll update a little.
DAY 18Went for IS lesson today on Chinese Philosophy. Serious speaking, I was very sian about it when making my way to class as I was thinking it would be one of the boring lesson whereby it will bore me to death. However, to my surprise, it was pretty interesting and I managed to stay awake here and there to catch some interesting points.

The lecturer of the day. The Head of the school as what I remember. And he has a very special name. He is called An TieHan. =)

A shot of the slides of today's lesson.

Well, group shots cannot be missed out everyday! haha!
So yea. We talked about the China History (whereby all the 朝s start to appear), talked about Qin Shi Huang and Confucius. It is actually quite interesting although its a little information overload for the 3.5hours. What I liked the most is actually the video which the lecturer played. It is too bad that I can't really understand Canto (MIN! TEACH ME! or AH PA also can!!!) so I wasn't very clear on what was happening in the video. Luckily Sheng Kiat was beside me and he could understand a little of Canto. So I could somehow know abit here and there.
Came back to apartment to settle PM assignment where Jacob and I compiled our TOR and see if anything needs to be edited before proceeding. Then we went out for dinner and head back to rest. Went up to the ladies' apartment to chat and have a little drink. It was a good bonding and fellowship session I could say. Jacob and guoyuan joined slightly later. Had lots of laughter and seriously, the girls have SUPER LOTS OF THINGS TO LAUGH AT! haha! I don't mean the person, but the things they do. It's just SO. HI.LA.RIOUS! haha!
oh well, gonna round up my assignment and pack things already. Update in three days' time!
REFLECATION OF DAY 18, THURSDAY, 11th SEPTEMBER 2008:Time : 12:01am
Today’s IS lesson talks about Chinese philosophy which I wasn’t looking forward to in the first place. The topic touches on Chinese History and Confucius. Interestingly, the thoughts of Confucius are very interesting and the beliefs are very similar to other religion’s beliefs. Comparing with the beliefs of different religions, I came to notice that the main belief is always saying that man-kind is kind in their purest states. It is really interesting to notice this fact and it keeps me wondering if all religion’s belief comes from Confucius’s.
