Day 11
DAY 11Into the 11th day in Wuhan, life is still great and I'm still alive! haha! get to go around to explore the campus further and to try new food. Basically, the whole is all about Project Management but on one topic. Terms of Reference (TOR) -.- haha! Well, it's not boring, but taxing as we had to individually draft up a proposal and TOR!! man! that's like 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 words!! haha! ok.. not that exaggerating, but you get the point.
Anyway, the guys went to canteen 3 to try out the food over there at lunch time. I tell you. THE FOOD THERE IS SUPER DUPER NICE! Better than canteen 2! SERIOUS! Here is a picture of my lunch!

The chicken sticks which I ordered! SUPER DELICIOUS! *slurps*

The side view of my 菜饭.

Some of the side dishes I ordered along.

The FULL SET! total cost me around 12RMB! hahaha!
Well, food in canteen is SUPER CHEAP and taste pretty good! the only down side is that they have little meat dishes. Oh well. Anyway, the rice cost you 0.40RMB and the usual sides are between 2.00 - 3.00RMB. yeah. and they have this stall like thing where you buy your rice, then you will have to go to other stalls to buy the sides. Very interesting! =)
Back to classroom, we were a little bored while waiting for Mr. Tan and the girls to come back from lunch. So the guys went for a little cam whore session to take some usual photos which we will take. ^^

Clockwise (from most left): Cheng teck, Zheng wei, Jacob, Guo yuan

the gayest guys in our apartment. =P

Jacob: BOO!
Sheng kiat: BO LIAO!

Of course must take myself la! haha! =D

how the classroom looks like. quite cool hor??
Overall, I AM STILL LIKING THIS PLACE! =)
REFLECTION OF DAY 11, THURSDAY, 4th SEPTEMBER 2008:Time; 11:14pm
Today had 2 sessions of Project Management where we continued on the lecture on Terms of Reference (TOR). We did a presentation on one of the activities where we had to show our answers and reason it out. It was a good experience for me as it enables me to think through why I chose certain answer.
The presentation went pretty well except for the Q&A session where Mr. Tan kept on asking certain questions. I felt that I couldn’t fully answer his questions as I know some of my answers are not well thought through. Therefore, the reasoning wasn’t strong enough to prove my point.
From this, I’ve learnt that putting in effort to do assignment is very important as it really determines the quality of the work. If one does his assignment half-heartedly, it will be reflected in the quality of work. I’ve also learnt to better process my thoughts before coming to a conclusion for various questions as I tend to miss out some areas when thinking. This is one of the areas which I need to improve on; learning to look at bigger picture. Overall, I think I can do better in presentation in future if I were to put what I’ve learnt into practice.
Learning in progress: Better communication/thinking process
