many many things
haha! okie.. I admit I was just too lazy to update my blog! too many things happen that I'm just TOO LAZY to put it all up!! haha! yea.. but just some quick updates so that you guys know what I'm doing recently la..
3rd - 5th JanIt was the Kranji Camp where the Trybe people and volunteers go there to hold a 3D1N camp.. yea... cause one of the days the class gets to go home, therefore the 1N only.. yea.. that explains it... I got the NT class which was 4I... truth to be told, I SIMPLY LOVE MY CLASS!! yeah!! they were really a wonderful bunch of students whom are really enthu about the programme!! esp. group B7... there were just TOO GREAT MAN!! haha! first time volunteer and was being made the class commander... yea.. it was stress though... but I really thank Jia Huey for trusting me so much and appointing me as the class commander which wasnt an easy job! yea... but overall, I really enjoyed the time spent with B7 people and the other Trybe volunteers... got to know crazy people like Min, Thomas, Adrain (who talks ALOT!) and my wonderful class volunteers namely Benjamin, Issac and Wei Lin!! you all were so good to me and really helped me alot!!
The island hunt was simply crazy... first time experience with the "amazing race" to be ISLAND WIDE!! WHEW!! it was super fun and really can see how the class get gel-ed together through the race... they get to learn how to be compassion and to learn about other things that classroom experience couldnt provide them... really a wonderful camp with many valuable things to take away from... being a volunteer myself, I too learnt alot from this camp... including the social eqtiqutte (erm... don't know how to spell... haha!)... yea.. even went to Jack's Place to eat... it was a great experience... should try next time with friends... it will be fun!!
8th and 9th JanWell, went to Henderson Sec Sch for Trybe programme on "You Can Do It!"... seriously, it's a wonderful programme that inspires students to want to do well in future... it's a special programme that I think other organisation can't give and I'm really impressed by how the lead facilitators coach and facilitate in class... they were simply my MODEL!! haha!
Yesterday took 1N1 which was a GREAT class!! they were simply a bunch of angels to me and they were really attentive to Eric who was the class lead facilitator... first time being in the programme and was a little blur... but luckily ah pa was there as well... helped me abit to get familiarise with the programme... yea... and got to know a few of the kids there and could connect with them... really enjoy spending time with them and really look forward to future visits! yea... 1N1, u guys ROX!!!
Today went to the same sch and got 1T1 for a change... well... they were EXTREMELY HYPERACTIVE and I'm really thankful for their energy level... though a little noisy during the sessions, but I really appreciate their attention being paid on us... its better than getting a class that does not respond at all... yea... seriously, they were really wonderful... yea... two of the students even helped us carry chairs from the hall into the classroom which was at 4th floor for us to sit!! was so touched by this act and really love them!! yea... they ROX man!! haha! then Jaime was the lead facilitator... worked with Bao hui, Jin wei and Joadine... really fun to work with them to lead the class... although tired, but we manage to pull through and God really blessed us!! =) yea... YOU ALL ROX!! and not forgetting my wonderful bunch of HIGH ENERGY kids, 1T1!!! you all are simply GREAT!! looking forward to seeing you guys sooN!!!
Just got back home quite long... now not doing much... yea... sooN will be back to update!!
